With a single dual axis probe, you measure tilt in both X and Y directions at exactly the same depth and orientation, so there’s no risk of misalignment between separate probes. It also halves the number of cable runs and logger channels needed.
Yes. The MEMS sensors are stable over years, and the stainless steel housing and pressure-resistant cable seals hold up in buried or submerged installations. We’ve had units operating in dam monitoring for over 8 years.
Standard digital output is RS-485, so you can easily poll it with a Modbus RTU converter or a data logger. Some models also offer CAN bus, which is useful if you have many devices on the same line.
The standard probe length is around 500 mm, and the cable can be extended to several hundred meters without signal issues, as long as the supply voltage drop is managed. For very deep installations, we supply custom cable assemblies.
The inclinometer is factory-calibrated over the full temperature range. In the field, you can perform a zero-shift check by rotating the probe 180° in the casing; we provide a simple procedure. If the site experiences extreme conditions, annual check-ups are recommended.
